Although I myself am not much a fan of sci-fi I have seen both Star Wars and Star Trek several times. By far Star Wars is superior in everyway to Star Trek. Star Wars special effects and story line hook and captivate the audience immediately. Star Trek tends to be grainer and the story lines do not equal the depth of Star Wars plots and subplots.

I think with Star Wars the story is more of an arc that is really full of depth to it. Although I am not a particular fan so to speak of either one I will say star wars does offer the more progressive storyline that continues on and gets more and more involved. While star trek is more of a storyline per episode per movie kinda of thing like the movies were non sequitur to any storylines in the show and vice versa.
ReplyDeleteI have step in here. You are all VERY VERY VERY wrong. Ok, if we are talking movies, I understand you thinking that star wars movies are better. However, if we are talking over all, star trek is superior in EVERY way. Especially the first 2 versions (the 1st and next generation). Each episode feels like a full length movie (even though they're an hour). Shows and movies are so easy to figure out now because they are trying to fit in so much at once. But star trek always kept you guessing and flowed so well. Not only this, but the messages on so many episodes really made you think and have to think outside of yourself... You just can't find shows like that anymore.
